Forgive your enemis, but never forget their names…

Patience is between courage and stupidity. Patience in office is more than stupidity but it’s a courage act and an act in showing us how mature we are.

Not so many person have a great and inspiring supervisor, and it becomes the one of best reason that most workers quit their jobs. Once, i asked to some of my good friends this question “..will you quit your jobs if you have a stubborn, annoying, an intense hard headed supervisor and he/she always looking for some ridiculous mistakes/faults as her/his excuse to fire you?..”

And without any doubt they answered “..probably..”. They explained to me that people deserve the second chance to change their attitude but if their attitude still the same or becoming much worse then it’s time to look for another job.

But what if, your current supervisor, being so outrageous to you treat you unprofessionally?. Will you give him/her a second chance to change their attitude too?. As far as i know, it’s difficult to change an attitude, attitude is the true nature of a person.

Let us look the situations in different case. What if, not only your supervisor, all of your co-workers are (also) outrageously intimidating you and supporting the supervisor or maybe the highest person in charge to fire you or to give you a sanction?..well, i called it politics.

We have to know, as a professionals, we get paid to work not get paid to “kiss some asses”. We work to learn and developing ourselves to become a better job holder day by day and to enhance our level of commitment to work as professionally as possible. But if we are focusing only in “saving our asses” by “kissing other people asses” well, there are three things about it. First, you working as a “slave” not working as the valuable asset to the company. Second, day by day you were trained to become a much better liar type person. You said what it best for you and to pleased someone else but not the truth. Third, you are the “white collar beggar”. You willing to do anything just for money.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy once said, “Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names” and i know he was telling the truth about how hard is life could be and teaches us how to deal with it. Eventhough your supervisor and co workers were hard on you and they strike you with so many unprofessional behavior let’s forgive them but remember not to forget their names.
